Street-van outreach is the core part of the Drug-ARM ministry. Equipped with 3-6 trained volunteers, emergency first aid, hot drinks, food and resources.
Our street-van operates as a “Good Samaritan service” and has a well established presence on the streets of Christchurch. Many of the street people come regularly for food and fellowship.
Of particular concern are vulnerable young people, especially if under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Over the years a number have turned their lives around as a direct result of the fellowship and support received through our street-van ministry.
